Skullcandy presents… Identity Festival at the Mandalay Bay Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 5, 2011.
Labor day festivities in Las Vegas included a stop of the Identity Festival Tour at Mandalay Bay Hotel Casino. The Skullcandy Main Stage was held in the Mandalay Events Center with the Rockstar Energy Drink Dim Mak Stage being held outdoors at the beautiful Mandalay Beach. Revelers danced the day and night away to music provided by an all star array of electronic music superstars. Las Vegas has been building a reputation as a hot locale not only in temperature but also in the electronic dance music scene. The Identity Festival rolled into town in the wake of the wildly successful EDC Festival and proved that Las Vegas loves to rave.
While each attendee made sure they watched their favourite artists, they bounced back between stages throughout the day. Electronic-dance musicians such as Kaskade, Steve Aoki and Afrojack (among others) left a notable impression as fans danced and jumped throughout the day. Not to mention some of the others artists, who focus towards probably the fastest growing genre of music, Dubstep, had the crowd jumping and shuffling to every beat dropped. Some notable dubstep artists who were present include Datsik, and Nero (among others).
