Vamp’d Rock Bar & Grill in Las Vegas presents Love/Hate.
Love/Hate is gearing up to head out on a Blackout ’13 tour to the UK for a string of club dates through later March and April. Original singer Jizzy Pearl will lead a lineup of Robbie Crane on bass (Ratt), guitarist Keri Kelly (Alice Cooper) and drummer Matt Starr (Ace Frehley) and will hit the UK and Northern Ireland and then back to the US for the East Coast’s annual M3 Festival in late April. Original guitarist Jon E Love performed at a recent Las Vegas show but is not expected out for the UK dates, but could be on hand for the Fresno, CA show before the band sets out for the land of lard and honey.
The recent Vegas show was somewhat of a precursor for the upcoming tour, and LOVE/HATE played through classics from their 90’s heyday to a full house at Vamp’d, the rock’n’roll home of Danny ‘the Count’ Koker of TV’s Counting Cars fame. Jizzy and band left no doubt they have a pounding in store for the Brits, as they brought back hard rock hits from Blackout in the Red Room and Wasted in America and even dipped into “Spinning Wheel” to a rowdy audience in Vegas. The Vamp’d show was packed, Love/Hate bring it, and succeeded in bringing down the house in Vegas. Good times. Great show. Lots of hard hitting, fun loving rock and roll and some really good chicken wings.
Check out Love/Hate on tour if you are in a European way in the next couple months… can’t promise good chicken wings over the water though, maybe have to settle for some bangers and mash. Love/Hate gained a heavy following in the 90’s in the UK touring with AC/DC and Ozzy, and has made Europe a destination throughout the years for touring, but this tour will be the first venture back to the Queen’s court in a few years.
