The Las Vegas Wranglers and Orleans Arena present The Smithereens. The Smithereens kicked off the first show for this season’s Wrangler’s Concert Series, the hockey floor turned into a concert floor post game after a Wranglers win over the Condors! The Smithereens straight forward rock and roll was a great choice to kick of the series and had mass appeal for the crowd of families and fans.
The Smithereens vast legacy of music gave them a lot to choose from for the set, and they gave the crowd a good two hours of music and hits including “Only a Memory”, “Behind the Wall of Sleep”, “Top of the Pops”, “Blood and Roses” and “Girl Like You”. The concert series will have more performances from Pianist Jason D. Williams, bluegrass-rock group Great American Taxi, and folk singer-songwriter Todd Snider in 2014.
