BlackBox13 by Karen Mandall | KarenMandall.comBlackBox13 returned to Count’s Vamp’d in Las Vegas on February 13th as support for Lynch Mob, featuring George Lynch.  The band played a set full of fan favorites including Senseless, Fake Today, Self Inflicted, Army of None, My Dear Friends, Breaking Ties, Thank YouSever and they debuted their latest song, No Change.    Guitarist Joe Wiehl brought the guitar riffs for the song to band practice a week before the show.  Joshua Alan wrote the lyrics, the band worked it up and one week later they opened their show with it!  No Change has been promoted to my favorite BlackBox13 song after seeing it performed live!  I shot video of No Change, so you can check out the new song  for yourself:

BlackBox13‘s next show is scheduled for April 18, 2014, in Hollywood, California at the Whisky a Go Go with The Dreaming.   You can check out my article from the last time these two bands shared a stage on  September 1, 2012 at The Hard Rock Hotel Casino in Las Vegas here:  THE DREAMING ROCKS VINYL AT THE HARD ROCK WITH SPECIAL GUESTS, BLACKBOX13!  If you are in Southern California on April 18th, don’t miss this great show!
