Vinnie Paul Birthday 3.11.2014 by Karen Mandall-1140Vinyl Las Vegas inside the Hard Rock Hotel hosted the first Annual “39th Birthday Bash” for Vinnie Paul Abbott and a couple hundred friends, and the night was a who’s who of musicians and entertainers who came to celebrate and perform on the Vinyl stage. The party started on the top floor “KISS suite” at the Hard Rock, complete with hot tub, pool table, full bar stocked with Zing Vodkas, and free B12 hangover remedy shots (neverhungover.com). The party moved downstairs for a full red carpet with friends and guests before the club exploded into a jam night on stage inside Viny, that kicked off with the Sin City Sinners filling the house band duties with original frontman Todd Kerns (Slash) in town and in tow for the night, and adding some famous names and faces as the night progressed to help them rock out, including DJ Ashba (Guns & Roses), Chris Phillips (Zowie Bowie), Phil Lewis and Scotty Griffin (LA Guns), Tony Palermo (Papa Roach), Scot Coogan (Ace Frehley), Jeff Duncan (Armoured Saint). Jeff Tortora (BLue Man Group) and the birthday boy Vinnie Paul taking the stage for a climactic “Blind In Texas”.

Also sighted at the show was a plethora of Vegas talent, including hypnotist Anthony Cools, Corky Gainsford (Otherwise), Vegas entertainer Frankie Moreno, rock journalist Lonn Friend, (Dancing with the Stars) , Jasmine Trias (American Idol) and entertainer Ben Stone, Wranglers President Billy Johnson, award winning music producer Kevin Churko, members of Raiding the Rock Vault including Paul Shortino (Quiet Riot), Doug Aldritch (Whitesnake), and Andrew Freeman (Offspring), and many more who all stayed to see the full size bass drum birthday cake wheeled out amidst cheers and toasts for Vinnie’s 39th. To say a good time was had by all would by a vast… understatement. Check out the pics for a frame by frame foray through the party…
