Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip is now featuring a new large memorabilia case on the third floor concert hall with some historic items from the members of Raiding the Rock Vault, a classic rock production showing at the Las Vegas Hotel. Raiding the Rock Vault musicians Paul Shortino. John Payne, Andrew Freeman, Howard Leese, Jay Schellen, Doug Aldrich, Robin McAuley, Michael T. Ross and Carol-Lyn Liddle were on hand for the unveiling and case induction earlier this week, and the case contains such gems as stage outfits from Howard Leese (Heart) and Robin McAuley (MSG), personal guitars used by Andrew Freeman (Offspring) and Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake) and the white leather jacket worn by Paul Shortino as legendary “Duke Fame” in the movie Spinal Tap.
Raiding the Rock Vault is a classic rock concert event, spotlighting legendary songs from the 60’s through the 80’s with some history from the eras added in the mix, and featuring musicians from such iconic bands as Asia, Whitesnake, Quiet Riot, Offspring and Heart and more. Recently voted in “Best of Las Vegas” (bestoflasvegas.com) as best musical, Raiding the Rock Vault features an impressive light show, video screens, actors, and dancers for a full rock ‘n roll production in the showroom at the LVH Hotel and Casino. The show runs Fridays through Tuesdays at 8pm and is all ages.
Raiding the Rock Vault is the Hard Rock Cafe’s ‘preferred production’ of the month, and that means you can take in a Rock Vault show, bring your ticket stub to the Hard Rock Cafe afterwards (Strip or Paradise locations) and get 20% off your meal (excluding alcohol) throughout April. Make sure to check out the Rock vault memorabilia while you are there! Hard Rock Cafe will feature the Rock Vault display through the end of the month.
