Alien Ant Farm’s ANTicipation Tour 2011 kicked off in Las Vegas on Friday, July 15, 2011 at The Cheyenne Saloon to a packed house with their original lineup featuring lead vocalist, Dryden Mitchell; guitarist, Terry Corso; bassist, Tye Zamora and drummer, Mike Cosgrove.

Most people became aware of Alien Ant Farm in 2001, when their cover of Michael Jackson’s Smooth Criminal became a huge hit. While it’s true that cover is a crowd favorite and the song they closed the show with, there is a lot more to Alien Ant Farm than that rocking version of Smooth Criminal that put them on our radar.

This night, they gave us two of my personal favorites, Courage and What I Feel is Mine, to start off the show. The set rocked with the familiar sounds of Movies, Glow, Attitude, Wish, Sarah Wynn, 1000 Days, Sticks and Stones, and SS Recognize. They gave us a preview of a future album, with Godlike, High on the Horizon, Yellow Pages and Simpatico and closed the show with Smooth Criminal.
