Yes, you read that right, Las Vegas Country Saloon, presents Death Angel, the legendary thrash metal band from the bay area of California. The LVCS as it’s usually called (probably to downplay the country connotation) is actually a very cool venue located in the heart of downtown Las Vegas at the Fremont Street Experience. This was my first time at the LVCS, and I hope they intend to continue with booking more rock and metal shows. The sound and stage lighting was awesome, it’s in the center of the downtown Las Vegas entertainment district and I look forward to seeing more shows there.

The show was originally promoted to be headlined by Testament, who is also currently on tour with Death Angel in support of Anthrax. Testament had to cancel their appearance but Death Angel brought us a hell of show. They played much of their new album, Killing Season, and the fans could not get enough.
