Per their website, www.VegasMusicSummit.com, the summit features “Industry panels of the most influential people in the music business. VMS participants include: Music Executives from Major & Indie Labels, Producers, Recording/Touring Artists, Booking Agents, Promoters, Managers, Attorneys and Music Publishers.”
The Vegas Music Summit concluded on Saturday night with a free show at the downtown Las Vegas “Rock the Block” location off the East Fremont Entertainment District, headlined by Awolnation who brought their high energy indie rock to a welcoming crowd. It was a very cold night in Las Vegas, but that didn’t deter the fans from packing the outdoor venue and thoroughly enjoying an impressive set by Awolnation. Their connection with their fans was instant, as they started off the night with Megalithic Symphony, followed by Jump on My Shoulders, People, Kill your Heros, Guilty Filthy Soul, Not Your Fault, All I Need, and Soul Wars. Then came their biggest hit to date, Sail. They closed out the night with MF, Burn it Down, Lean on Me and a 10+ minute long rendition of Knights of Shame with frontman Aaron Bruno sitting in on the drums during which the crowd went wild.
Awolnation is currently touring nationwide so connect with them on facebook or check their website for upcoming dates.
