Live Nation and HOT 103 presents… Down With Webster with guests USS (Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker) and OCD at the Burton Cummings Theatre on February 15, 2012.

Starting off the night was Philadelphia rap duo, OCD with an hour long set. Being the only group from America that night, these guys’ held their own, and represented the city they were from.

Up next, USS. USS stands for Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker, and these guys hail from Toronto, Ontario. Consisting of the musically talented Ash Boo-Schultz playing the acoustic guitar, and singing vocals he was hyped up with his partner ‘Human Kebab’ who was on decks DJ’ing and MCing their performance. In addition they had a drummer in the back. This trio offered an energetic filled set, with music that I have defined as genre-less. Consisting of a bit of rap, of bit of electronic, and a bit of rock, these guys’ pleased the majority of the house, hyping them up for headliners, Down With Webster.

Finally, Down With Webster hit the stage to a full crowd chanting “Down With Webster, Down With Webster”. Down With Webster, another rap-rock band from Toronto are currently touring on support of their third album, ‘Time to Win, Vol. 2′ which contains a few chart toppers including ‘She’s Dope’, and ‘Big Wheels’.

Playing an hour long set, Down With Webster mainly maintained to have their teenage based crowd standing, screaming, and waving their arms for the entire set. Down With Webster’s set ended with their hit ‘Dope Girl’ which had the entire building singing along. After thanking the crowd, and leaving the stage; the crowd called back the group to play a few more songs.

As the band entered back onto the stage they played 3 more songs for the crowd which included ‘White Flag’ off their latest album, and ending off with ‘Whoa Is Me’.

Throughout the night Down With Webster managed to play hits off all three of their albums, including ‘Your Man’, ‘Rich Girl$’, and ‘Big Wheels’ and left every DWW fan ecstatic as they left the Burton Cummings Theatre.
