Green Valley Ranch presents… STYX, Grand Events Center, February 10, 2012, Henderson, Nevada

Legendary rockers STYX performed their hits at the Green Valley Ranch Casino in Henderson Nevada on February 10, 2012 to a packed house. Tommy Shaw (vocals, guitars), James “JY” Young (vocals, guitars), Lawrence Gowan (vocals, keyboards), Todd Sucherman (drums) and Ricky Phillips (bass) took the stage to Blue Collar Man, and gave the excited crowd a wonderful experience. Everyone was singing along to their favorites, including: The Grand Illusion; Too Much Time on My Hands; Lady; Lorelei; Man in the Wilderness; Fooling Yourself; Come Sail Away; Renegade; and many more. Styx has been touring for decades, and they continue to bring a high energy performance that makes it obvious they are enjoying bringing the music to their fans. This is not a band just going through the motions, they were having a blast.

STYX has recently released their double-disc REGENERATION, VOLUME I & II via Eagle Rock Entertainment. In addition to thirteen STYX classics and a brand new song, “Difference In The World,” the collection also includes interpretations of “High Enough,” and “Coming Of Age,” originally recorded by Damn Yankees, which featured Tommy Shaw, along with Night Ranger’s Jack Blades, Ted Nugent and drummer Michael Cartellone. The band had originally re-recorded these acclaimed anthems to sell only at their live shows, as they continued to tour the globe and introduce a new generation of fans to their chart-topping hits. Now, for the first time, this music has been made commercially available.

Their tour continues and details are available at www.StyxWorld.com.
