The Mall Of America presents… The Hunger Games Mall Tour.

The Hunger Games mall tour came to Mall of America on March 9th preparing for the movie opening on March 23rd. Thousands of teenage fans swarmed to MOA, and whether you were on Team Peta, Gale or Katniss you could not help but miss 8000 kids in one area.

People started lining up the previous day at 3 in the afternoon and the girls I talked to were there at 8pm the night before and were about 200th inline they said. The autograph session was in the Microsoft store and was for the first 300 in line.
Before the cast came out DJs from the local radio station KDWB came out and gave away prizes to people who answered the trivia questions they had. One prize was tickets to the autograph session, and the top prize being a brand new HP notebook with the Hunger Games logo on it. Pretty nice prize I’d say!

The tour hit LA, Atlanta, Phoenix, Chicago, Miami, Minneapolis and Seattle and with the soundtrack available on March 20th the songs from District 12 are going to be quite a good seller.
