Creed at the Pearl Theater, Palms Resort Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada May 11, 2012

Creed is on tour with dates currently scheduled through August 23, 2012. Their recent stop in Las Vegas at the beautiful Pearl Theater at the Palms Casino Resort was highly anticipated by their fans and Creed did not disappoint them. Scott Stapp’s vocals are as strong as ever and with Guitarist Mark Tremonti, Drummer Scott Phillips, Bassist Brian Marshall, and touring rhythm guitarist Eric Friedman, Creed rocked the Pearl. They performed their second and most successful album, Human Clay, in it’s entirety, then closed the show with six of their greatest hits from other albums. Creed has announced on their twitter that Scott Stapp and Mark Tremonti are going back in the studio in June working on new material. With that announcement I’m convinced that Mark Tremonti may be the busiest man in the music business these days. With Creed currently touring and going in the studio, Tremonti also has a solo album being released in July entitled, All I Was, and I’m sure we will be hearing more from Alter Bridge. The night was opened up by Like A Storm, a band of Brothers from New Zealand who have relocated to Vancouver. I had the pleasure of photographing them last year here in Las Vegas and have followed their career since. Chris, Matt and Kent Brooks have built their talent and family bond into a band that gets your attention and keeps it. They have a loyal fan base and made lots of new fans at this show.
