Rock Fest present Alice Cooper.
Hitting the stage at 7PM was Alice Cooper, and the sun setting made for an Alice we have not seen before. A huge back drop hung from the stage while Vincent Price’s intro to Black Widow was cranked. Alice was pierced up high on a platform, and behind him was a huge web with him in a black widow suit. Super cool looking as he spread his arms as a spider.
The band was incredible. Alice scooped up Orianthi; one of the hottest and greatest guitar players out there. She played with Michael Jackson on the ‘This Is It’ rehersals and movie and now she has been with Alice since 2011. She has done 2 world tours with Alice and is the first female member of his band.
Glen Sobel rips it up on drums being the backbone for the band. Finalizing the triple threat on guitar with Orianthi is Ryan Roxie and Tommy Henriksen. These three on guitar are something to hear. Makes the double axe attack seem out of date.
Alice ended up being one of the best of Rock Fest this weekend in my opinion, as he put on one hell of a show!
