The Honda Civic Tour presents… Linkin Park co headlining with Incubus with special opening guests Mutemath at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC on September 4, 2012.

It’s been 8 long years since Linkin Park has made an appearance in Vancouver, making it a highly anticipated evening. The high energy presence of Linkin Park was expected as they roared onto the stage. The arena filled with the sense of excitement as Chester and Mike screamed and rhymed their way through the library of songs for over 90 minutes.

The very aggressive energy of their performance that unintentionally overshadowed the rest of the bill. Nothing else could quite compare to Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda stalking across the stage with seemingly boundless energy and complementing each other. The crowd was a sea of grinning ecstatic faces singing along and screaming along to the fast rhythms of Linkin Park’s well known anthems as well as songs from their new album ‘Living Things’. This was a concert tour aimed at the most devoted fans, rather than simply in support of an album. Year after year the Honda Civic Tour presents a stacked line-up and yet this year alone seemed to be a cut above all the rest.
