Having headlined the Vans Warped tour over the course of the summer, The Used are back for more and moving full steam ahead. On Tuesday, Bert McCracken, Quinn Allman, Jeph Howard, and Dan Whitesides tore up the stage at the Fox Theatre in Pomona on the kickoff to the band’s tour in continued support of their latest release, “Vulnerable”. Before a packed standing-room floor as well as a near capacity balcony section, the night’s 17-song set featured music spanning across their decade-plus long career. Opening with their latest single “Put Me Out”, the band rocked and sernaded the fans with the new and old favorites (I Come Alive, Take It Away, The Bird And The Worm, I Caught Fire, Buried Myself Alive, Pretty Handsome Awkward, closing the night with A Box Full of Sharp Objects). The mosh pits and the off-key singing courtesy of neighboring fans were in full effect for the night. All in all, it was a great place to belong.
