Rob Zombie & Marilyn Manson Kyle Hansen October 24, 2012 USA Verizon Wireless Center presents… The Twins of Evil Tour staring Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie on The Twins Of Evil Tour. Marilyn Manson started the show at 8PM after a set from DJ Starscream. He rocked the house to warm everyone up Mr Manson. Coming on the stage wearing a somewhat gas mask and signing Hey Cruel World from his new album Born Villan. The evening started off a little slow when hitting the stage but things got really cooking when Mobscene and The Dope Show played mid-set. While going around the arena it seemed manyconcert goers getting ready for halloween. Twiggy was wearing his usual dress and had the guitar sounding most excellent. Right after hit Sweet Dreams the show had to stop for about 20 minutes while the front guards fixed the barricade. Manson came back out once fixed, and gave his own sweet revue of the guards. A somewhat usual act for him. Finishing up with Beautiful People got the crowd in a frenzy, as it always does. Even with the barricade needing some repair the crew got it done right on time. Rob Zombie came out tearing it up. With a mask and cowboy hat on and a skeleton arm 4 feet long it is enough to scare the person in the last row. His microphone stand is a skeleton with stretched out arms. Rob Zombie has taken the horror metal scene to the next level. Jesus Frankenstein is the first tune with a massive monster coming out on stage. He had screens and flames all over the place. During Superbeast he has a 10 foot tall witch come out on stage. Guitarist John 5 was with Mariyln Manson from 98-2004 and since then he has been with Rob. The band kept the evening rocking and could have done 10 more tunes, but I guess it’s hard to get everything in there on a co-headlining tour. The stage show is always great with Rob Zombie. You never know what surprises he is gonna bring out.
