HellYeah Courtney Shaefer November 10, 2012 USA Eleven Seven Music presents HellYeah with Screamlyne, Holy Grail, and Dance Laury Dance at The Odeon Events Centre in Saskatoon, SK on November 5, 2012. Metal supergroup, HellYeah is made up of : Chad Grey of Mudvayne Vinnie Paul of Pantera Greg Tribbett of Mudvayne Bob Zilla of Damageplan Tom Maxwell – of Nothingface HellYeah were joined by guests Screamlyne, Holy Grail and Dance Laury Dance and on November 5, as a group, they all made The Odeon Events Centre in Saskatoon rock. The bass was so intense it felt like an earthquake beneath ones feet. The speakers were blasted and it seemed as if you had to time your breathing to the beat. It’s all a feeling of rock music, and what a an exhilarating feeling it is. The opening bands did an amazing job getting the crowd riled up (even a fan buying Dance Laury Dance a round of shots) but it wasn’t until HellYeah hit the stage that the crowd went insane. With three albums under their belt, they played songs ‘Band of Brothers’, ‘Drink Drank Drunk’, ‘Alcoholin’ Ass’, ‘HellYeah’ and more. The band thanked their fans between songs, and took the time to thank the venue employees (security, waitresses, bartenders) their crew (sound techs, ect.), the promoters, and anyone else who was a part of the night. Chad (the lead singer) was always singing into the crowd and jumped into it a couple times, which drove the fans wild. While this band is still selling records and touring the world, they remain down to earth and don’t take their ‘best jobs in the world’ for granted (I must say, my job is up there, but it’s all up to opinion). All in all, it was a night of great music and great company. Minus a couple of falls, there weren’t too many casualties. The lead singer had an eye on the crowd all night and asked a fan if he was alright after he landed face first. Next time HellYeah is in a town near you, they will hope to see you there! And next time they are in Saskatoon, I hope to see you there!
