Live Nation presents… Motion City Soundtrack with special guests Now Now and Jukebox The Ghost at the Virgin Mobile Mod Club on Tuesday, November 13, 2012.
Coming up to the Virgin Mobile Mod Club’s ten year anniversary that following weekend, Motion City Soundtrack played the venue one last time while it remains still in it’s single digits of age. Opening the night was Now Now and Jukebox The Ghost, before Motion City Soundtrack hit the stage at 9:30 PM.
For a lot of attendees, seeing Motion City was a flashback to their high school years. With a near 500 people in the building, Motion City played songs old and new, with the crowd knowing the majority of the lyrics.
It was definitely a high energy evening, with many crowds surfers throughout, all of which ended up on the stage, saying a hello to Justin Pierre, the lead singer, before finding their way off stage. Justin stopped a few times in between songs to explain his love for the city of Toronto and apologizing for not coming more often. We just hope it won’t be long for the band to return.
Motion City Soundtrack is composed of Justin Pierre, Joshua Cain, Tony Thaxton, Jesse Johnson, Matthew Taylor.
