Live Nation presents Xavier Rudd with guest Good Old War and Ohnia: Kara Drum Group at The Odeon Events Centre in Saskatoon, SK on November 23, 2012.

It was a night to remember. From Good Old War’s indie rock sound to Ohnia: Kara Drum Group educating the crowd on fertility and testosterone to finally Xavier’s message to give back to the earth. I have never seen such a diverse crowd at any show. There were people from all age groups, classes of life and different styles. It was a place where the young and old, business men and average working men, hippies and metal heads all came together for an enlightening show. The crowd was easy going and they were there just to have a good time.

Australian musician and internationally known activist, Xavier Rudd, is a one man band, and had the crowd on their toes since they saw him go on stage. He always had one eye on the crowd and a smile on his face. He played instrumental songs with a drum kit and didgeridoos as well as sang with an acoustic guitar and harmonica. He is a man of many talents and gave the crowd great messages to go home with about change, the environment, keeping our culture and mother nature. He sounds unlike any other artists that are popular on the radio and there is just something about the didgeridoos that just can’t be explained unless you’ve heard it live.

As I was leaving, a fan asked me what I would say about this show. I loved the show and think she quoted it perfect by saying he is “The total package, and easy to look at”.
