P!NK is one of those artists where the word “Bad Ass” comes to mind. Since her debut in 2000 and 6 albums later, she is still taking names and kicking ass. Never one to let management lead her, she has plowed ahead with a vision and honesty that is very refreshing in pop music, no twerking, bubblegum lyrics, or lip syncing.

Making her 2nd trip back to Chicago, with one more coming in December to the United Center, she was able to sell out the Allstate Arena.

Before she came on, the video screens showed people in the crowd dancing along to party music, as well as the MC for the night walked in the crowd and played with them. As the lights dimmed, the MC came on stage to tell the crowd they would be taking a journey through love and asked if the crowd was ready to explore their emotions; they screamed their approval.

P!NK opened with Raise Your Glass; that had P!NK attached to a bungee cord as she jumped up and down from the rafters of the Arena. Hanging from the rafters were 3 male dancers who would catch her and hold her as she sang. It was visually over-the-top and mind-blowing absorbing everything going on.

Never one too shy from provocative lyrics and her sexuality, she sang a playful version of Walk of Shame. P!NK’s body is in such shape that it would make body builders envious; with her abs exposed they were chiseled in a tight six pack.

She played Just Like a Pill off her 2nd album and classic, Missundaztood. She laid on the stage reaching out to the crowd of adoring fans.

While her music is thrown into the pop music genre, PiNK has a very rock star stage presence as she interacted with her band and dropped to her knees in front of her guitar player as he wailed away.

Playing hit after hit, including a few cover songs and a section of songs acoustically, she thrilled the crowd for close to 2 hours.
