Alejandro Fernandez, “Confidencias” World Tour 2013, Chicago, IL

Alejandro Fernandez, son of the lengendary Ranchera singer, Vicente Fernandez, has sold over 30 million albums worldwide. Known by many as “El Potrillo,” the colt, he made a stop at the Allstate Arena. With a huge Hispanic population in Chicago, he easily packed in the venue.

With no opening act, Fernandez came on stage around 7:30pm and played for 2 ½ hours. With his chisled looks he had the women swooning in the crowd as they sang along and held onto his every word.

The stage was set up with a huge video screen and 3 smaller ones that hung from the rafters. Along with a backing band, Fernandez sang the first half of his show with his popular ballads and pop songs. He sang songs ranging from his 15 album career, including songs off his new album, Confidencias. Halfway through the show, he brought out a 13-piece mariachi band that brought the crowd to their feet as they danced in the aisle.

Fernandez sang a few of his father’s favorites that rang through the venue with such pride.

For any fan of Latin ballads and Mexican folk music, this is a tour to catch. Playing just a few dates in the USA, fans will have to wait till next year.

Alejandro Fernandez, hijo del legendario cantante ranchero, Vicente Fernandez, ha vendido mas de 30 millones de albunes en el mundo. Conodido por muchos como “El Potrillo” hizo su parada en el Allstate Arena. Con una populacion numerosa en Chicago, facilmente se lleno el local.

Sin nungun acto de aperture, Fernandez vino al scenario como a las 7:30 and canto por 2 horas y media. Siendo tan guapo, tenia a las mujeres casi desmayandonsen en la multitude mientras cantaban su cada palabra.

El scenario estaba configurado con una enorme pantalla de video y tres mas pequenas que colgaban de unas vigas. Con su banda, Fernandez cando la primera mitad del show con sus populares baladas y canciones pop. Canto canciones que venian de su carera de 15 albunes, incluyendo canciones de su Nuevo album, Confidencias. Por la mitad del show, trajo su banda de 13 mariachis que hizo levanter a la multitud a sus pies, mientras que bailaban por los pasillos.

Fernandes cando algunas de las favoritas de su papa que se cantaron con mucha honra.

Para qualquier fan de balladas Latinas y musica folklorica Mexicana, este es el tour al qual atender. Solo hay pocas fechas en los EEUU, entonces los fans van a tener que esperar hasta el proximo ano.
