Doug Aldrich’s Burning Rain fired up the stage at Vamp’d in Las Vegas!

Vamp’d Bar and Grill Las Vegas presents Burning Rain. Doug Aldrich’s Burning Rain fired up the stage at Vamp’d, with a playlist heavy on songs from their latest 2013 release Epic Obsession, and a few extra surprises thrown in. Burning Rain’s bluesy hard rock roots cut through on “The Cure”, “Pray out Loud”, and “My Lust Your Fate” from Epic, then slowed down for an acoustic “Heaven Gets Me By”. This Burning Rain line up for Epic Obsession features co-founder and vocalist Keith St. John (Montrose, Lynch Mob), bassist Sean McNabb (Dokken, Quiet Riot) and Matt Starr (Ace Frehley) on drums. The set wove in a few covers including an kick ass version of Montrose’s “Rock Candy” and Zep’s “Kashmir” before finishing out the night with a little Zeppelin jam on stage with a few special guests from the crowd including Paul Shortino (Quiet Riot, Rough Cutt) and John Payne (Asia).
