My favorite band I’ve never seen perform live is Die So Fluid. Originally hailing from the United Kingdom. Bassist/Vocalist, Grog, now lives in Hollywood, California (when she’s not on tour with the band) and she tells me they are currently scheduling dates in the UK, Europe and (pretend you hear a drumroll) The U.S.A!

I love everything about Die So Fluid. Grog’s voice and driving bass lines lead the way for their guitarist Drew Richard and Grammy Award winning drummer Al Fletcher to blow your mind. They list their influences as: A Perfect Circle,Helmet, The Dillinger Escape Plan, My Bloody Valentine, Deftones, Siouxsie and The Banshees, The Cure, Hole, Black Sabbath, Soundgarden, Motorhead, PJ Harvey, Jeff Buckley, Led Zeppelin, Echo & the Bunnymen, and Tool. This is a band that does things their own way and that has resulted in music with a wide appeal that is hard to label. They been listed as Heavy Metal, Post Grunge, Alternative Rock and whatever you want to label them one thing is certain. . . Die So Fluid ROCKS!

In advance of their upcoming album The Opposites of Light (set for release in March, 2014) Die So Fluid has released their single, Black Blizzard. Check out the beautifully dark and mysterious video for the song, released November 15, 2013. Black Blizzard and more is available for purchase on Bandcamp, Amazon and iTunes. Check their website for future updates and links to their social networking: www.diesofluid.net
