Imagine Dragons closes out 2013 with a Homecoming show at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel Casino!

Imagine Dragons Memorabilia Case at the Hard Rock Hotel Dec 30 2013 By Karen Mandall

Las Vegas’ native sons and GRAMMY-nominated Imagine Dragons proved that 2013 was the year of the Dragons as they commemorated their breakout year by unveiling their first-ever memorabilia case inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas on Monday, Dec. 30. The special display, located right inside of the property from the main valet, features iconic items from the band’s music video “On Top of the World” including all four custom-made astronaut suits, an American flag, an Earth decorated beach ball, a small satellite dish and more. In addition, the case will be home to the rope that lead singer Dan Reynolds used to fly over the audience during Imagine Dragons’ sold-out February 2013 show at The Joint as well as an autographed copy of the property’s in-room Hard Rock Hotel Magazine, featuring the band on the cover.

Imagine Dragons said goodbye to 2013 by taking over The Joint for a sold-out show where they performed some of their biggest hits including Radioactive, Demons and It’s Time. In true Las Vegas fashion, more than 20 Elvis impersonators joined the band as they sang On Top of the World. During the concert, Reynolds took the microphone to thank fans saying, “I never thought I’d be able to play two sold-out shows at The Joint. Imagine Dragons’ music wouldn’t be possible without you.” He added, “I can’t tell you how good it feels to be back in Las Vegas. This is our home.” Las Vegas is their home and we are excited to see Imagine Dragons recognized worldwide.
