American Monster, Count’s Vamp’d, Las Vegas, February 15, 2014.

American Monster at Vamp'd February 15, 2014AMERICAN MONSTER. Make a note of that name because you are going to be hearing a lot about them in the future. This 4-piece hard rock band ,based in Las Vegas, started making a name for themselves over a year ago but have been on a bit of a break for a while. During that break, guitarist Brody DeRozie jumped on a tour with Hell or Highwater, where he played Aftershock Festival opeing for, Avenged Sevenfold. Now that the original lineup, (including Brothers Mikey (vocals) and Bryan (drums) Lorenzo, Tyler Burgess on bass/backup vocals and guitarist Brody Derozie) are back together and working hard, it looks like 2014 is going to be a breakout year for American Monster.

American Monster’s fans and fellow musicians turned out to see the show including Joe Wiehl, guitarist for BlackBox13, who said to me, “I don’t know why these guys aren’t touring the world”. I agreed. I think that is exactly where they are headed.

Check out my photos of their set, the fan video (courtesy of Trish Kerr) of American Monster performing “Out of Time”, then connect with AMERICAN MONSTER on Facebook so you’ll know when the monster is on the loose again!
