10468203_830049767029831_1034485816641675648_nSin City Sinners, Las Vegas’ hardest working band, recently broke a world record playing 24 sets in 24 hours at Count’s Vamp’d Rock Bar in Las Vegas. The Sinners’s featuring Brent Muscat, Rob Cournoyer, Michael “Doc” Ellis, and Joshua Alan were joined for this event by special guests: Phil Lewis and Scotty Griffin of L.A Guns, Paul Shortino (Rough Cutt, Quiet Riot) Oz Fox (Stryper), Wayne Carver, Cian Coey and many more. Sin City Sinner, Todd Kerns, was there in spirit I’m sure but was unable to attend this event as he’s currently touring with Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators on bass.

The event doubled as a benefit for Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, raising more than $1,000 to benefit this deserving no kill animal shelter. Historically, the Sinners have raised over 1 Million Dollars for charities including The St. Baldrick’s Foundation to fight Cancer, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Toys for Tots and on this night for the Nevada SPCA No Kill Animal Shelter. Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman honored the Sinners by proclaiming August 27, 2014, SIN CITY SINNERS DAY. They are already making plans for to raise money to fight Cystic Fibrosis with a walk for charity on the UNLV Campus on October 18th. Between all these charity events and the multitude of shows they play every month, it’s no exaggeration that they are called the hardest working band in Las Vegas.
