Lita Ford played a best and guest set at rock n’ roll grill Count’s Vamp’d Vegas, celebrating her birthday with a whole lot of vegas fans and some special VIPs. Lita opened the show hard and heavy with her cover of “The Bitch is Back” and played through some of her well known hits including “Gotta Let Go”, “Back to the Cave”, “Hungry”, and “Out for Blood”.

Lita made sure to give a nod to the Runaway years with “Cherry Bomb” and “Black Leather” before performing one of her biggest hits “Close My Eyes Forever”, joined by special guest guitarist Howard Leese from Heart, and Michael T Ross on keyboards, who both perform weekly in the Vegas production of Raiding the Rock Vault. As soon as Lita and Leese finished the last strains of “Close My Eyes” center stage, rock journalist Lonn Friend came out bearing a red and black Lita-style cake, and he and Howard led the band and crowd in singing Happy Birthday, glasses raised around the room, before Lita tore into “Kiss Me Deadly” for the finale for the night. Check out the photos from the fun.

Lita has a few more tour dates showing for October, and just announced is a return to Las Vegas in December with a double bill with Warrant at the Hard Rock Hotel’s Vinyl Las Vegas. For more info click here.
