Rob Zombie in Vegas for the Halloween? Doesn’t get better than that. Friday nights eve of Halloween show played to a sold out crowd in the Hard Rock Hotel Joint, with co-headliner Danzig opening the followed by Zombie taking the stage for a goth-horror-metal double shot. Zombie jumped and swung around a lot of fringe and hair as he belted out “Yeah, I am the astro creep, A demolition style, Hell american freak” from “More Human Than Human” to kick off the second half, amid giant backdrops of monsters and werewolves and King Kong (oh My!). Zombie’s along with Piggy D, John 5, and Ginger Fish turned the Joint into a living horror carnival, with a set that included White Zombie classics, Rob Zombie hits and some select covers, before the dreadheaded frontman called out some extra support for the encore, with Glenn Danzig joining Zombie for “Vampira” and “Horror Business” for the nod to the Misfits and the band that started it all.
