It’s no secret that legendary pop punk band Blink-182 has moved forward without co-founding singer-guitarist Tom Delonge, but the revamped lineup featuring Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba in place of Delonge is proving that sometimes change can be a good thing.
The band’s newest album California is receiving rave reviews with it reaching #1 on the Billboard Top 200, Us Top Alternative and US Top Rock charts so it was no surprise that many of their dates on the current tour were sold out so quickly.

Blink-182 packed out the Ascend Amphitheater for their first show in Nashville since 2001. The setlist included well known classics like “Feeling This”, “What’s My Age Again?” and “All the Small Things” as well as deeper cuts like “M+M’s” and “Carousel” for the diehard fans and several new songs off their newest album including “Los Angeles” and “Bored to Death.” Supporting acts A Day to Remember and All American Rejects rounded off the lineup nicely and even brought a younger generation of pop-punk fans to the mix, making this concert the perfect way to end the summer.
